Disney drops bid to have food allergy lawsuit tossed

Disney has agreed to drop its bid to have a food allergy lawsuit tossed on a technicality.  In October of 2023, Kanokporn Tangsuan, a doctor from NY dined at Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs.  Despite being assured multiple time by the server that her food was free of  her allergens, Tangsuan suffered from an acute allergic reaction despite injecting herself with an epi pen.

This tragic story underscores not only the need for better training in restaurants, but that we need to continue to raise awareness that food allergies ARE SERIOUS and potentially deadly.

Big News - Neffy is Approved by the FDA!

This is big!  Neffy was just approved by the FDA for use in treating severe allergic reactions.  Neffy is needle-free - which is especially comforting to kids (and grown ups) who fear the injection almost more than the reaction itself.

A special shout out to FARE for their unending efforts in ensuring this get approved by the FDA.
